I am seeking prayer support for strength and grace to keep my eyes on Jesus while waiting for the answers...and to not ALWAYS be waiting...but, living. And, also...for God to continue to open doors no man can shut and shut doors no man can open...we really don't want to run out ahead and do any of this on our own agenda...we want what He has for us...it is just so hard to wait and find out what that is!
Thank you very much!

I also had this same prayer! I know it is not easy. It is especially not easy to continue to "live" when you think you might get a call any day. Or you don't plan a vacation because you think you might have a newborn at that time. God certainly does have a plan. Our son came to us in an amazing way. God's invisible hand became visible through our adoption journey to our little man! Keep praying, have fun, enjoy all the things you can and don't lose hope that God is crying with you because He knows His plan for you, but just cannot make it visibl to you yet.
Your post was so incredibly encouraging to me. We are currently in the waiting phase as well and I have been struggling with living in the moment and trusting God's timing. We tend to be so short-sighted and can't see beyond our own impatience. I heard this sermon yesterday and it helped me get a clear picture of what adoption is really about....and ultimately it is not about me...or my timing. Thank you for being a faithful example for those of us a step behind you in this journey. It was VERY encouraging to get your update and answer to prayer.
