First of all~ Congrats to everyone who recieved referrals recently and will be home with their children in time for Christmas! Has anyone seen the new music video/song by Third Day called "Merry Christmas"? If not, you should!
Back to our concern...Our LID is Sept 06 and all of the websites I've visited have predicted that we should receive a referral in March-August 2012. We are NSN. However, our agency told us earlier this year that we would be getting a call in Jan-Feb 2012 saying that we have a year and that we need to start up-dating our paper work. They estimated that we would receive our referral late 2012 to early 2013.
So we are confused.... China has referred LIDs through Aug 7th, that is a little more than a month before our LID. So should it really be 2013 when we see our daughter? Or do the websites seem more accurate? (We are using reliable websites like RQ by the way) We most likely have a year or less to wait-so why hasn't our agency called us say we need to update our dossier?
Update:
People with LIDs of 8-8-06 through 8-10-06 are getting referrals! Our LID is 9-11-06, so we are getting so close! If our agency hasn't contacted us by Christmas/the new year we will call them to see why we haven't received a call saying we have only a year to wait.

IttakesFaith,
I am not involved in China adoptions. I am dropping by from the Russian boards. I hope that you get your referral and the wait is soon a distant memory for you!

Looking back on RQ's information, referrals in 2011 went from May 30 to Aug. 10. So, they basically covered a little less than 2 and 1/2 months in the entire year. Based on that, you should receive your referral in 2012, I would think. Maybe more toward the middle part of the year.
