Looking at adoption from Bulgaria!

Have any of you had experience in adopting from Bulgaria? I am wondering about travel and have heard about possible escort on second trip and am wondering how long the process was? My DH and I tried to adopt from foster care and had no success...we switched to another second domestic foster/adopt agency only to have the agency go under. We have 2 bio boys and still want to adopt. We are also looking for the best agency to go with as well...any stories or advice???? I have 2 particular agencies picked out but am not sure about either of them? Thanks!

I have not adopted from Bulgaria but I can answer your other questions.

* Bulgaria requires two trips.

* The first trip is approximately five days.

* The second trip is approximately seven days.

For questions about escort you would have to contact the agency. Since I can't name the agency in the thread I will PM you the name. They are wonderful! I know people that have used this agency and were pleased.
