Boy born in Fl--early 1950s

I am the sister of a boy born to Elizabeth A. Kernick(1919) in 1950s. Father, if listed, was Cosmo Quattrone(1900). I just found this out Xmas Eve....and don't know where to start. Both parents are gone...any info would be appreciated!!!:thanks:
