My hubby & I are just starting to investigate agencies. We are a bi-racial couple in NJ looking to do a domestic AA adoption. We would be so appreciative if anyone could private message us about their experiences with the Children's Home Society of Nj, Bethany Christian Services or African American Adoptions online.
Thanks so much!
PS: what does the "D" in DH stand for? The "H" is for husband, right?
DH = Dear Husband. Sometimes mine doesn't seem so "dear" but when he's feeding my 5 week old son... well, he's very much so.
We are NY residents who just adopted our son who was born in NJ. While not on your list, we had to enlist assistance from a couple of NJ agencies in order to complete the adoption (more details if you want, just PM me).
We worked with Better Living Adoption Services (908) 654-0277 and Alliance for Children, Inc. Tel: (781) 444-7148.
If you haven't already looked at them, I would give them a phone call.
Good luck!
