I gave up my daughter 40 years ago. It seems like yesterday. I would love to find her and have been searching for a long time. I see programs on TV about people being reunited and cry every time. I want her to know how much she was loved and that her father and I are still friends. She has a brother, 2 1/2 brothers, and a 1/2 sister that would love to meet her. I was so young. I need to know she had a good life and what I did was the right thing to do.

Have you done any searching yet, or gathering of information? There are folks on this site who can help with the details of how to proceed, finding resources and so on if that would be of help. As I've found, not all reunions end up like what you see on TV. But in an odd way finding the truth is often very therapeutic.
