My mom's last name was Brasseux, she was from Louisiana (New Orleans, I think). My parents told me she was in high school. I was born in a Jacksonville hospital and then given straight to my adoptive parents. I have naturally dirty blonde hair and blue/green eyes. My mom and my dad both have French origins. I don't have access to my birth papers so that's all I know.
Please help.
Thanks!

Hello, do you know why you were born in Jacksonville if your mother was from New Orleans...I'm just curious because I was born in Jax and I can't find any family with my last name in the year of my birth who lived in Jax. I'm trying to get a feel for how far pregnant women would go to have babies instead of in their city and state. Did she have family in Jax or did she go to an unwed mother's home, etc? I ask this to satisfy my curiousity and to help me understand where to look for bfamily. Thank you

From what my adoptive parents told me, I have no idea. All I know is she did it through an agency and I was born in a Jacksonville hospital. Sorry I can't be of more help :/
you have no idea what her first name is? i found my parents with their first and last names, i'll try and help but it's near impossible without the first name.
Unfortunately, the adoption attorney was told or legally obliged to white out all name, age and location information and leave only things like ethnicity, skin color, hair color, weight, etc.. Luckily for me, when I found the adoption papers in my parents stuff when I was younger, I found that the adoption attorney had missed one of the lines with my mom's last name and that's where I got Brasseux. Unfortunately, my parents found the paper work and to this day will not allow me access to them because they don't want me to find her. So I really only remember her last name, not much of anything else.
And I figured as much, but it couldn't hurt to give it a shot on a popular website? Hopefully she's looking for me too.
