How to file a Hardship claim with the IRS

our return is being reviewed AGAIN. (it was last year also) and im wondering how I can file a Hardship with the IRS so we can hopefully get it faster. We are buying a house and we NEED that 8500 to go towards our house. If we don't get it on time, im not sure how we will be able to purchase our home. They dicked around last year until October when we finally got it. That seriously can not happen this year. We really need that money. Not like everyone else doesnt need their money too right !! :D

any advice on how to go about this??

You do that through a Tax Advocate, which are harder to get than they were at the beginning of last year. Look through the old thread to get the numberr to call if you don't find it on the IRS site.
