So at 11:45pm Wednesday evening we received a call for an emergency placement for a 14month old girl. We said yes and she arrived at 1am. We knew this was most likely a short term placement, but accepted anyway. Well, judge upheld removal but allowed her to go to her maternal grandparents. i got the vibe from sw they weren't too thrilled with that arrangement, but home was deemed appropriate, so that was that. She left last night and I have to say I am surprised by how much I miss her!! Two days was certainly not much time to bond and all that, but the kiddos agree too that we all miss her! Guess I just knew this was a safe place to express that, others may not understand, so thanks for letting me vent!!:flower:
i don't know if you do em care often but i too am in nj and will be doing em care. i am just waiting to get my final approval by licensing and i will be good to go. it's nice to hear that even though your placement was only for 2 days that you were still able to form a bond and make a connection. i can't wait to get started.
