So often we talk about the serious side of how kids/adult adoptees and aparents discuss adoption, I thought it would be fun to have a thread on the lighter side.
My youngest came in the house cackling to himself a few days ago saying "I told B...I told him!" (his friend)
Upon explanation, I find out he had told his friend he's adopted and his friend B didn't believe him. Said he looked too much like his brothers to be adopted and there was NO way. Of course my darling child T fails to tell B that his brothers are ALSO adopted but BIOLOGICAL siblings.:p: So B comes over to hang out and T says to my husband "Dad, I'm adopted, right?" which of course dh confirms. B apparently was shocked that you could adopt "that many" kids and all with the same hair color. lol! Anyway it all got clarified, and they went off to play with B telling my son, "that's cool, but are you SURE?":D
I'll share the next one in a bit....what are some of your more funny/light hearted stories? Yes...the RAINBOWS;)
My brother, who is whiter than white, was convinced for a long time that his first dad was Michael Jordan. Oh yes, you read that right, because it was such a possibility after all.
He and his wife had a baby and dad had to get them a Michael Jordan outfit even though it won't fit the kids.... grandpas, they get a little whacky I guess.

That was a good one!
the Michael Jordon one too!
I was certain "That Girl" Marlo Thomas was my mother, because she lived alone and wanted to stay single.
I can't remember any, but I know there are some, will ask my brothers soon.
Tell the other one Crick! Tell the other one!
