After Nov. 15, 2011, people involved in adoption can request birth certificates, and if the other parties involved have filed no objections, the birth certificates will be turned over. With such good non id info and then with the names on the b cert, you will have a much better chance of finding your b family. It takes a while to get your b cert. have you applied yet?

Hmmm. That sure doesn't sound good. Have you ever seen your adoption decree? What is the date on your birth cert. that it was registered?..Should be around a year after you were born, indicating when your adoption was finalized

I have requested my original, only to be told I do not exist...I have a birth certificate with my adoptive parents information...
I have gone through everything I or my adoptive mother had on my adoption... Here is some more information I have obtained... and now the only paperwork mom received was from the Child & Family services and it had no id info on my birth family (see above). Last night I received from IARMIE the following:Birth mom's age is listed as 20 at the time of my birthBirth father age is listed as 25 at the time of my birthI was born at Freeport Memorial Hospital in Freeport, Ill. rereading my amended birth certificate I see that a Lueva McHugh was the local registrar and it was record originally on Oct. 16, 1969not sure if any of this helps... but... its more information
