Today my birth daughter is 47 years old. I searched for her, got non-id info, agency contacted her, but she did not want her records opened or any contact from me. I understand and respect her wishes. I continue to pray that she is happy. Every day I think of her and love her.

When did you contact your daughter? Has it been a long time or just recently? I'm sorry she was not receptive to contact, but perhaps in time she will be. Not to give you false hope, but sometimes people do change their minds about this. She could also be going through something currently in her personal life that would make it difficult for her to cope with a reunion.
As a fellow birth mother, I know how much you love and think of your daughter. And respecting her wishes right now is the right thing to do. I was prepared to do the same with my son if he did not want to be in contact. Fortunately, we did reunite and things are going well for us, but it was a long, drawn out process and sometimes I questioned if it would EVER really happen!
