My half-brother was born at Booth Memorial in Cleveland & his adoption was handled by Catholic Charities as his mother was Catholic (my family is Presbyterian). His birth name was Michael. Both parents are white.
I am waiting on his non identifying information from Catholic Charities. From what I've read on here it takes several weeks & the information is generally useless. The horror stories about CC freak me out.
His birth mother is deceased. I have a release on file with the state. I've searched for him for years & I think it may be time to give up searching. It's like I'm trying to find a ghost that doesn't exist.
When is it time to stop searching when you know you've made every attempt? Are there other records I could request pertaining to him?
