Facilitator - Legal or Not?

We live in Georgia and we were contacted by a Facilitator in California about a situation in Florida. I have read very conflicting posts about whether the use of a facilitator is legal or illegal for us, since we live in Georgia. We would be finalizing in Florida. Any help is appreciated.

Based on a chart that has laws for all states, it says that Georgia allows facilitators. However, you should verify with an attorney in case that has changed. Florida and California also allow facilitators, so you should be ok.
