Hey All! My husband and I finished all of our homestudy, signed everything and it has been off to the state for final approval for nearly 2 months now! My questions is... My husband just recently got a speeding ticket. We explained on the license that he has never had a moving violation before and that we planned on going to court and explaining this. I know our social worker received an email from the state wondering if the ticket had been resolved (his court date is not for another 2 weeks) she responded letting them know that. I asked our sw if she thought that was going to hold anything up and she said no. But, now that it has almost been 50 business days Im concerned.... Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!!!
Having been presiding over adoptions for 11 yeares-
NEVER has one been delayed or denied for a speeding ticket. PLEASE talk to your lawyer to get your adoption finalized!

A speeding ticket should not be a roadblock to adoption
