Hi all! Lots of new faces here.
We're foster parents with Marion Co. DCS been doing it for a long time. We decided since we weren't getting any calls, our foster son's adoption was finalized, and his sibs would probably be adopted soon that we wouldn't renew our license. Well, we're two months away from our license expiring now, and it's not looking like the sibs will be adopted any time soon. Their foster parents have not even filed yet. We provide respite for them.
We need to get the First Aid/CPR/UP done before 10/31. Can someone give me the lowdown on how that works at ARC and how you get the coupon code that the DCS website talks about?
Thanks!
My Homefinder gave me the code. There was one newsletter that had the code, but it didn't always work.

Thanks, Jen. Haven't heard from ours yet. I didn't keep the newsletter. They did not even have any Pediatric First Aid/CPR classes listed on their website for the the rest of the year. Do they not do it very often?
Ok, I see on the DCS website where it says to take the Adult class. I assume that is the regular class and not the review.
It is a combo class. I'm going to have to take mine all the way down in Bloomington. Stretch is doing it in the evening here in Indy. We signed up a couple of days ago.

The details posted regarding the items to be placed in the first aid kit are very useful for many of the people who are in search of the best first aid kit to be maintained. I am having many of the items discussed here only few are left. I would place the left items too in my kit soon as possible. I would like to thank the members for providing the details.
