by an old timer with 10 adopted sons. Not a book about what I did right (because God knows that would be a short book), but a book of what I went through. Any thoughts?
I'd read it, write the forward and do the photography for the jacket ... whatever it takes to get you to write it!

I really think you should do it!
I think its possible that it would not only touch those in the triad but would be a great human interest piece as well :)

You need to do it. There are too few books about adoption written by those how have experienced it themselves.

I think the 10 adopted sons would cause a *lot* of people to pick it up and read it. I mean, in my opinion, it's a given that people inside the adoption community are going to want to read it, and will get it.
There are also people who have been touched by the experiences of those who adopt (or try to, and are burned to a crisp by "the system" and give up). Those people would read it.
I think, however, that the "10 adopted sons" is a *huge* hook, that would pull in many, many people to read the story. I think many people could learn a lot from it, also. Hope you write it, even if you use a co-author to get it done.

Very funny linda512! I am only up to 2001.
This is hard. A dear friend told me that writing the book would also bring up bad memories as well. She was so right. It has made me very introspective.
