Hello everybody!
It's been a while, and I thought I would give an update. Xander (7) and Daniel (4) have been home with us in Indianapolis for a little less than 3 months now. Everything has exceeded our expectations. The boys have adjusted so well to their new lives in America. Because of their ages, we were concerned that they may have attachment issues, but we have seen no evidence of this. The boys have both quickly bonded to my husband and me.
I continue to check this forum from time to time and continue to pray for everyone in the middle of the process. The waiting and anxiety is difficult. Hang in there and persevere. God IS in control and orphans are near and dear to His heart.
Blessings to you all! :)
Gretchen ("Xander")

My comment got eaten, it seems. So glad you're home and all is well! Would love to meet up once you're feeling settled. Have another IA friend in Indy, too...

Swimming is an essential skill for young children. You can do no better service to your children than to teach them to swim and let them get used to the water in their own swimming pool.My 6 years old baby is new to competitive swimming...she love swimming...
Congratulations on your little ones! I'm glad the kids have adjusted quickly. Let's hope the others in limbo get to bring their children home soon. Have a good new year.
