Meeting with the SDA

I have been communicating with others who have adopted from Ukraine and have heard about how you only get 1 hour to look through binders to pick a child. They also said that you get very little information about the child at the intial meeting. I was wondering what other people's experience was with their initial appointments and did you adopt the child from your first referral or did you have to go back to the SDA for others?
