I finally got a decent picture of all three of my grandkids together. It wasn't easy, mostly because of the toddler!
The little boy on the left is the son of my full black son. The other two are the children of my biracial son. I'm also posting pictures of each of the fathers as babies (seems like yesterday). None of the grandkids look as black as we expected, but the new baby is really a shock! He has his dad's ears, nose and mouth, even the funny little dimples above the upper lip when he smiles, but he's as pink/white as any kid I've ever seen! His sister has light hair, but her skin is quite dark and she has dark brown eyes.
Genetics are so interesting!
You never know how they'll look! My old friend is biracial & she had a baby with a black man that turned out to be very light with blond hair & hazel eyes. She had tight Afro-curly hair so she was very unique looking. Her coloring was kind of like the little boy in the Texas shirt in the picture. She's 14 now & her hair has gotten darker (not really blond anymore but still light brown) & has been straightened, her skin is kind of light tan, it's really hard to tell her race by looking at her.

They are beautiful! Genetics are funny, my daughter is Hispanic/Caucasian and she looks Hispanic while her full bio sister is blonde hair and blue eyes
