Starting the Process

Hello,

We are just starting the process and have attended the informational meeting. We are deciding on going through CPS or a private agency and still do not know if we want to adopt right away or foster to adopt. We are interested in an older child from 4-8. Can anyone share a success story of an older child adoption?

Hi Snowhite my husband and I are starting the process too we went to the orientation class too we are going to foster to adopt a litle girl i was told is hard but we are willing to wait what is needed for kids of 4 to 8 i am assuming is faster but i guess you will have to ask your agency, our first intention was to adopt from Peru where I come from but it is really epensive we tought better to use he money for our kids college so we looked for options here and we were really surprise how much help they give you to adopt your child eventough could be more incertitude but that is life no guarantees no even when you wait for your biologic child.
