Adoption agencies in NYC

Dear all, I am trying to find an adoption agency in NYC and went by chance through Spence Chapin and Bethany websites. This doesn't give me lots of "realistic" information or advice. That's why I would be interested your experience for adoption (open domestic adoption) in NYC (waiting time, process, number of home study visits, difficulties during the process), with these agencies or any other.
