I was adopted in 1972, at birth. I have searched on and off for 20 years. With the benefit of the internet and a strong desire to finally find "her" I think I have done it. Soon I will know. My only clues, other than the obvious, were she served in the Peace Corps and wasn't ready to have a baby, me. So with that info, I scoured the internet.
After hours and hours, days and days, of searching, to the point my family thought I'd lost my mind, I hit on a lady whose criteria matched. Everyone I show her picture says she looks just like me. So i sent her an email, apparently she just retired. Sent her a FB message, learned through the wise posters here of the "other" mail box, darn you fb. So via fedex today to her home address goes my letter.
I pray it is her and rely on the wisdom of me, that she, being my creator, will share my thoughts on this, that she will be happy, that I did it. Sent out into the world on my own, I found my way back to her.
Fingers crossed and the eagerly awaiting the next email from Fedex on the journey of my letter to her.
The internet is an incredible tool, search away, anything is possible. I feel like a master googler!
Now inserted by my ten year old who believes I've totally lost my mind...:clap:
