Kinship care threatened to be rejected due to family dog

This was my biggest fear when we were tryin to adopt J. I had a trainer come in to work on an integration plan.

In the end, we were trusted based on our awareness of our dog's issues. 3 years later, they are best friends :p

We have a few dogs, and the fact that we have 2 trained in protection that our 3 yr old can handle and even knows the German commands was one of the safety pluses for us :). That and hubbs being involved with law enforcement, the dogs are kind of a given
