We live in Texas and are looking to adopt a toddler domestically. We have been in the process for 3 years and have had several matches that did not work out. We would prefer a child a little closer to our DS age. We are if anyone has any experience specifically adopting toddlers successfully. We have looked into CPS but after 3 years and failed placements the thought of fostering and then having the child placed back with family is discouraging. Thoughts, advice appreciated.
