The countdown is on and I still have so much to do... fingerprints, physical, doggy shots and homestudy (after we move to our new house in a few weeks). I just want to be done already! Anyone else feel overwhelmed at this point in the process?

You are almost done! Sorry, I'm not at that point yet, but taking classes this summer. I'm researching like crazy to get a head start on things. You actually gave me a new thing to think about, I had been reading up on having dogs in the house, but didn't think about having to submit my dog's medical records. They are up to date, but will have to check to see if they need anything else.
Hope things finish up smoothly for you!

We just kept our heads down and submitted things as we finished them. Same with once the homestudy started and we were given tasks to complete (earthquake/emergency box, extinguishers, ladders, baby gates, cabinet locks, etc) but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Good luck and keep us posted!
Yep......it felt like when we were getting it all done that there werent enough hours in the day to get it all done!!
(It doesnt compare to the overwhelmed you get with a new placement though lol.....think of it as "in training" for when you get a new child in your home.)
My advice is to make yourself a checklist and keep on truckin' :)
