Adoption and Pregnant?

So my sister-in-law just had her second child the other day (yay!) and it got me thinking, is it possible to adopt when you are pregnant? I'm not talking about getting pregnant before a match, but if you are matched and starting to transition, what do they do if you become pregnant? I would think that it would be terrible for a child to be taken away from a forever home because of a baby, but I know they don't like this. Just curious :)

I think it depends on the agency. I know a family who was matched and became unexpectedly pregnant, and they were still able to adopt the child. I've heard of other situations where the match was called off because of pregnancy.

I would think it would partly have to do with the expectant mother as well in a DIA. I would have chosen not to continue a match had the potential adoptive mom gotten pregnant. I would have wanted my baby to the be focus.
