[FONT="Book Antiqua"]We should have been approved and finished last month. Instead we are trapped in a paper forms can't get a straight answer nightmare. I'm wondering if anyone has had any issues? I'm not looking to stir waves or get anyone in trouble I just want my forever family, and I feel like this nightmare is no where near done. I am not getting any answers and feel like maybe I need to go higher up. :grr:
If I am not getting any answers or called back. Am I wrong to go higher up?

Were are you at in the process? I am getting licensed again, was licensed before so am familiar with it.
I had my 1st home study visit today, need to get my 2nd one (which is Tuesday) then have my home inspection and will be done.

Our application was withdrawn. They stated in the letter I was non-compliant which isn't true. We have to re-apply and submit a new application. All of our troubles and why our application was withdrawn is because of our caseworker. Everyone I've talked to in different counties had amazing caseworkers that made the whole process great. I'm being told our references have expired. I can't get an answer if we have to take the courses again considering we just took them in February or what else may have "expired."
Wow!! So you are having to start the WHOLE foster/adoption process over?? Any idea what you will have to do? That is horrible no clue how that can just get withdrawn. So frustrating.
I'm told we are suppose to be able to pick up where we left off but that's taking my caseworker at her word. So far we have to re-submit and fill out everything all over again.
Have you ever encountered a problem with a caseworker? I'm trying to find the right way to go about requesting another caseworker. As I've stated each time I feel she is the reason that everything was held up and so on. I need someone who knows what they are doing and is willing to work with us. I don't think that's a difficult request. Right?
What county are you in? I swear everyone I talked to has had great caseworkers and never had an issue through the application / home study / licensing process.
This just doesn't sound right! Our resource worker helped us get licensed quickly with no stress. Everyone in this process wanted to "get us up and running" as quickly as possible. I hope things work out for you!
