Introduction

I am a biological mother to two children whom I've raised, an adoptive mother to two I'm raising. I've adopted domestically (newborn), internationally (Haiti), transracially, special needs (Autism, global delays), and with the help of granted programs. We've experienced open adoption that closed due to birthmom's and child's wishes, and true orphan adoption with updates to the orphanage/country. I've been an active forum contributor for fourteen years and a writer of adoption related blog topics. Having been turned down as a panel responder/support aparent at our local adoption agency because we did not adopt from them, I would love to help anyone that I can.
