I'm not sure. If I were you, I'd give a reputable agency that has a program with Ukraine a call. Even if they aren't your client, they should be ready, willing and able to talk to you about something as simple as this even before you are a client. I spoke with our program coordinator for Kazakhstan for quite some time before filling out an application -- her willingness to do this for us was one major factor in selecting the agency. If you would like me to PM you the agency info, this agency also operates in Ukraine and uses the same program coordinator as our program. I cannot recommend her enough.

In most cases, if your homestudy report approves you and your doctor indicates on your dossier medical that you are likely to have a normal lifespan and that you are healthy enough for the demands of parenthood, you should have no problem. However, you should check with some agencies.
