Prayers please! The Queen had a 6-8 hour eval scheduled for this last Monday with a NeuroPsych. The appointment started at 9 and by 10 we were in the ER waiting for her to be admitted. The Queen started raging in front of the NeuroPsych. Hitting me, biting me, throwing any object at me and the doctor. Objects thrown were wood blocks, filled water bottles, etc. I got hit in the head a few times & in the eye once with these items. They admitted her to get her medicine straightened out. Once she is regulated and the meds are working correctly, the NeuroPsych wants us to come back. She said she can help the Queen but first needs to be regulated.
I am not allowed to stay with her & can only see her one hour a day. Please pray that she is okay there. She is only 5 and I am sure she is scared. Currently slated to come home on Thursday.

OH NO! (((HUGS)))
Why won't they let you see her for more than an hour a day???? She's only 5 and needs her mom! This must be the hardest part for you, I'm so sorry!
Thanks all for the prayers & support.
Crick - hospital policy. A counselor friend of mine used to work at this hospital and said part of the reason is to make sure the child isn't being abused. Are they raging because they are being locked in a cage or beaten or whatever. The child needs to feel comfortable enough to talk to the therapist. Obviously, the Queen is not being abused. The doctors are realizing it is from the drug exposure. I so hate birth Mom right now.
Good news - they let me bring her home after the family therapy session. Bad news - she has been raging off & on since she got home. Currently, she is taking a nap. Warn out from the whole experience.
I am taking the rest of the week off from work to spend some time with her. Normally she goes to an in-home Preschool setting this summer. Monday she starts Kinder. So, I want her to be relaxed and feel loved when school starts on the 26th.
