Hello. I am new here.I am from oklahoma. I am a 29 yro who is a nurse and bio mom to 3 daughters. We are hoping to add a son to the crew. We have our homestudy on tuesday 9/24. I am anxious, nervous, excited. The whole gamitt. So far our case worker is really nice and helpful. I am expecting a long road ahead of us. We are interested in Foster to adopt. We are open to a sibling group of 2 children also.

I'm new here too and in OK. Was your meeting actually with the local DHS worker? How did it go? I filled out the online request for paperwork at the end of August and had my first home visit before I even got the paperwork. That just throw me for a loop. Have you started classes yet? We start next month.

Hope it all went well! :) Be prepared for it to take a while before they get back to you... home studies are very wordy and long, so they take a while to write. I wish you blessings on your new adventure! We just got certified 9/17 so we're just waiting for the call to come in, the wait is always the worst part!! Keep us updated
