Hi -
We are kind of new to this. We just finished pride training and are almost finished with our homestudy. I am curious has anyone adopted successfully off of the waiting children list from another state? I don't see a lot on it but I am curious. Our caseworker told us it was an option. Just curious about the process and how it works.

Hello there and congrats on finishing that process me and husband are starting October 9th :cheer: 3 days before his birhtday he is supper excited as I am.
Ok from what I have heard it is simple, you can ask the coworker to add you to the snap program or recommend you was what our CW said once you search and find a child or children you like you fill out there information online most listings won't let you send for information if your HS is not finished because they use this to match you or recommend children for you. They pull a somewhat short version of your HS and if they like it then they contact you and send for the full version. Once that is done they will send you more information about the child/children and they contact your CW but if you are unsure speak with her. At least this is all I know....And trust me we are there too both me and Hubby are interest in a few outstate children mostly sibling groups :D
