Yey for having a date.
We are most likely going to finalize on Nov 22, which is when they celebrate National Adoption Day here. I am super excited to finalize along with several other families. I am told that here they have all kinds of stuff for the children and families, bouncy houses, food, face painting. Li'l Singer will only be 15 1/2 months, but it should be fun anyway.
I have a dress for Li'l Singer that is pale pink with little rosettes on the top and I found a darker pink shirt with similar rosettes on it for me, which I will wear with a skirt. I wear dresses and skirts for work so this is not unusual for me.
I'm not a 'dress 'person lol
I bought a really nice pair of black pants (slacks) and a red sweater. Our theme was red, because we adopted just before Christmas :)
my husband wore a suit.
I would advise against high heels....too hard to chase the kid with!! Lol
Congrats on your upcoming adoption
His outfit sounds adorable! I love sweater vests on little guys. For our son's adoption, I wore a modest sundress and sandals, and DH and DS wore suits (though I'm not sure DH's jacket even made it out of the car, it was hot!)For the fall, I love a sweater dress and boots, or a wrap dress and simple flats. Take lots of pictures, it will be a day to remember! Congrats
