Still searching...January 1967

I am waiting to get confirmation that I can have the Children's Home Society search for my birth family. Sometimes I get so tired of the red tape, but it is what it is. In the meantime I will keep posting and searching on my own. I was a baby girl, 9lbs 1 1/2 oz at birth, born in January 1967 in Virginia. My BC says I was born in Lynchburg, VA but I'm not sure if that was changed to reflect the birthplace my adoptive mother would have used had she given birth to me. I was adopted through Children's Home Society in Roanoke, VA. I'm told that my birth mother had red hair and my birth father had dark hair, perhaps he was of italian decent. Myself, I have dark hair and freckles (probably inherited from birth mom or her family). I would love to find my birth family. I don't need anything financial, I am happily married with children and quite self sufficient. I would just really love to know my roots, my children's roots, our heritage. I would love to have that connection that so many take for granted. If you think I could be part of your family, please message me.
