We are wondering about a possible next step. Our agency has said that they are not getting any children at the moment (they were small to begin with). We are thinking of moving on to foster care. Our home study expires in about 5 months. We thought why not give it a shot for these last 5 months advertising and using other means. We are wondering what this group would recommend? Facilitators, advertising, other options, something other than paying a lot of money to join another agency? One thing is that we want to work with someone who is very ethical and is not trying to make a deal. We have been turned off by pushiness and high birthmother expenses and other things that smell of transactions.
What are your ideas?
