We just inquired about a sibling set out of state, Louisiana if that makes a difference, on adoptuskids. Has anyone BTDT? This is our first time and just curious as to how it all works. How long does it take them to respond? Will they always respond? If we were chosen, what is the process like? I am just curious and would appreciate any advise or feedback. Thanks in advance.

I've made lots of inquiries in the past. I usually follow up each with an email addressing specific information if possible as well as giving a quick profile (usually copy and paste my adoptuskids one and then altering based on profile). Many times, you'll never hear back. Other times, you'll be ask to have a homestudy sent. Many times you'll get additional information. From THAT website, each time, the additional information has been enough for us to back out. On our state website, we've gone further a few times; but it hasn't worked out.
