Hello, I am a 44 yr old adoptee, searching for my birth family, or at least medical history...my birth mom was 19 in the summer of 1969, and had been going to college on a scholarship, majoring in English, to become a teacher. Birth father was on scholarship at the same college, majoring in Chemistry. I was born at 4pm on June 30, 1969, she kept me with her for 10 days, then she signed me over to the Adoption Service of Westchester (now Family Services of Westchester), then I was taken to a "boarding home" until i was picked up by my adoptive family in Sept.
:confused: does anyone out there know at what hospital I may have been born? I don't know the name of the boarding home, either.

I'm sorry this thread wasn't acknowledged more previously. I'm more sorry that she isn't ready to talk with you. I know the "birth parents" forum on here usually has some great advice for reunion situations. Maybe you can ask in there if anyone has any advice going forward trying to reunite.
