I am in search of my cousin's who were taken away from their mother in 2000-2001 and her rights were taken away. There were three children that went into foster care. Dominique, Cody, and Abigail. I went through all the home studies and visits with DCS and was told that i would be getting custody of the oldest daughter who i was fighting for. My sister and cousin were fighting for the other 2. Once everything was about to be settled the birth Father who also gave up rights his parents stepped up and said they wanted all 3 together. I understand that DCS wanted to keep all 3 together but this was a family that had never had anything to do with the kids from birth. well to make long story short they sent the 2 oldest kids back to Omaha claiming that they couldnt handle them and that they were allegedly performing sexual acts. With all this Interstate got involved and would not allow us to get the kids because of the accusation and they would not be allowed back in the state of TN till they turned 18. they kept the youngest who was barely 1 at the time. Later it was told that they did not believe that the oldest 2 children were their sons biological childen.
Well the oldest (Dominique)turned 18 on August 3rd. Please help me find her or direct me in the right derection in which to start looking. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
I do believe that the 2 oldest were adopted in Omaha Nebraska. They were in foster care for a while. I tried to keep in contact with the caseworker for a few years and then he left and i havent heard anything since.
