Hi! I'm new here. My name is Brianna, and my husband and I have started the process to foster to adopt in Washington state. We're taking 3-10 year girls, and up to two if sister sibling group.
We've done all the classes, and submitted all the paperwork other than two character references and a well test. All of our out of state background checks are done, and now we're just waiting to schedule home studies.
I feel like I'm going out of my mind waiting! What helps/ed you during the waiting period?

Getting room ready also I made a blog for our future AD so that I can type and put pictures of how insane we are doing waiting for her. We also took a vacation after the homestudies and while on the way to our destination we got the good news that we had been approved the day after we got back from our 2 week vacation we got placed on the list that same week we got our first placement
