We are finally at the end!!!! On November 21, 2014 2 out of 3 of our pookies will be adopted!
Questions: how exactly does Adoption Day work? Do we wait in line while others are adopted or is it like every child at once???

I would hope that it would be once case at a time for privacy reasons.
We were called to the Judge's chambers to handle matters and it was over in a matter of 2 minutes. No questions asked. I know not all are that easy or handled in this way but that is our experience.

Congratulations. Becasue you are doing the finalization in November, chances are it will be a little more of a big deal than any other month. For November - National Adoption Month - most counties do a special ceremony. Some put out a brunch spread, have special gifts for the kiddos and present a special plaque or certificate to the families. Media is there and there are speakers etc. But after the general assembly aspects of the celebration are over, each child goes in privately with the family and any of the family's guests only. They are not done openly in front of other families. Enjoy the day and what nice Thanksgiving blessing!!
