Placement visits

Hi all, We have our child presentation this week and will be discussing placement visits. I know that the minimum number of visits is 3 (one for a couple of hours, one for a day and one overnight). I would like to understand the process a bit more. Assuming we stick with the 3 visit minimum, my questions are: - how soon after the presentation could the first visit take place? Following week, next day? same day? - are visits typically schedule during the week or on the weekends? - are there breaks between each visit (like 1 day or 1 week between each visit)? or are visits consecutive? - is the final visit the transition or is there more paperwork and then transition? what's the process after the visits are completed and there are no issues? We are leaving for a short family vacation right before Christmas so we have a very short window for visits this month. Will they speed up the visit schedule to have the child move before Christmas or want us to wait until after our vacation to proceed? Are children normally moved around Christmas? Any BTDT? Thanks!
