Jamaican adoption

My husband and I are wanting to adopt from Jamaica. We have already mailed our pre-application to the CDA. I was wondering if anyone is going through a Jamaican adoption right now. We were also hoping for a 6 weeks to 1 year old. Based on previous posts this seems to be out of reach. Can anyone shed some light on this for us?

Hello, I’m wondering if you ever completed or attempted an adoption through Jamaica? We are considering this option for our family as well and I haven’t been able to connect with anyone who had successfully completed an adoption from there. Thanks!
