We are getting close to finalizing the adoption of our FD (placed through ICPC to IN). It has taken a while to get here (placed with us Aug 2014, TPR September 2014, been in adoption prep with a worker who has since been fired who did almost nothing on the case from 11/2014 until 8/2015) so we are going to finalize in Houston in order to make the process a bit faster than doing it here in IN would be. The adoption prep worker sent us a "Resource list of attorneys" which is basically just a list of names and phone numbers. Does anyone here have a specific attorney they would recommend? We have nothing to go by other than this list since we're in another state. Please send me a private message if you have a recommendation of someone to use or avoid. Thanks in advance!
