Katherine Simon 02/1945 Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit

My parents adopted a little girl in February 1945. The girl's mother got pregnant while her husband was overseas in the war. The adoption was legalized and they had her for two years. The biological father came home from the war and wanted the little girl. In 1947, she was given back to her birth parents who were still married. My parents had an additional six children, but Mom would still like to know what happened to Kathy. We do not know that names of the birth parents, just the name on the birth certificate. Any help would be appreciated! We would love to find our sister by a different mother!
