I was born in Nuevo Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico in 1990 and immediately given up for adoption. I have no names of birth parents or any relatives. I was adopted out to my family three days after birth and brought to the US. The adoption was not very formal, it was handled by members of my Church who found my family who was wanting to adopt.
Some unreliable details I have are that my mother was young (college age), from a wealthy family in Mexico City and my father was likely a teacher at her school and was white, maybe American.
I recently took a DNA test that shows I am 46% Native American most likely originating from southeastern Chihuahua/ northeastern Durango, 14% Portuguese, and the rest a mix of European and minute traces of African. It identified someone as "Close family - 1st cousins" with extremely high confidence. His family tree shows the name 'Baca' so this might be a clue and people who grew up near my birthplace say it is a name they have heard there.
Any help would be appreciated
