Message subject I was born in Cheverly Maryland which is in Prince Georges County. I was adopted through Prince Georges County DSS. What I have found out: Birth mom was 20 Birth dad 21 they were married. Birth dad was incarcerated and they couldn't afford another baby. I have an older brother out there somewhere. The social worker that I questioned mentioned that my birth mom was very reluctant. My heart goes out to my birth mom for giving me life and having to make this difficult decision.My birth date is May 21, 1964 (5/21/64) born in Prince Georges County hospital. I am lookin for any of my birth family. I only found out two weeks ago that I am adopted. I am 38. If I had known I would have looked sooner.

No, I haven't heard of this person. But I just might go and find her book about LDA's.......you are right when you say it's a whole different ballgame.
I have found through a wonderful CI (located in Maryland) my birth mother. I learned from my birth mother that I am one of 5 children. I am now searching for my two younger sisters who were adopted in Illinois.
