Adopting children with special needs

I am 17 and i am mildly mentally Handicap and I have limitations that are similar to children with mental retardation. When i get older i want to adopt children with special needs,mental retardation,down syndrome,deaf,and that have limitations like i have. I want to work with children with mental retardation, that is what i liked to do in my life.
