Hello,
I was hoping to get a little feedback. I am about to send our second letter in a semi-open adoption. My son is 4 months old and we have agreed to write and send pictures several times a year and have at least one visit a year (birth mom lives pretty far away so we can't see her as much as we would like).
Anyway, I wanted anyone's input to what I should and should not write her.
Thanks

I tell my son's Bmom everything that is going on -- what he is doing, what a typical day is like, funny stories about him, etc. I gush about what a great kid he is, and I tell her how grateful I am that she gave me the opportunity to be a parent. I also let her know that she remains in my prayers. Just write from your heart, and the letter will write itself.
Good luck!!
