Please tell me this gets better?
I have a beautiful daughter who is 11. She is the light of my life but keeping up with things just seems like to much at times.
I am so angry at her father at times. We were supposed to share this responsiblity and now we are both single.
The thing is that all the parenting things like homework, practing music, buying clothes and worrying about doctor appointments all fall on me.
I now live on my income and sometimes it is so frustrating trying to budget in the things she needs.
I enjoy being with her and she is the light of my life. I enjoy coaching her in soccer I just don't know how I am going to work full time go to school and be mom. I know it is neccessary and I know I can do it but just the thought of it makes me tired.
Thanks for listening.

How many names, children, divorces, separations, husbands do you have anyway??????
You keep saying you are new here, but you have 136 posts. Some say you are single, some divorced, some with a boyfriend, some married. Some say that you have infants, some with school age kids, some with both, I think one even says that you have 2 year old twins.
I'm just wondering why you are littering these forums with questions that cannot possibly be about the same person. Either you are making stuff up just to have people to talk to, or you are running an orphanage with a dozen clones.
Just stating my opinion.
evansmom,
Somewhere in an early post someone questioned CDR about their connection and having so many posts. This person is some type of moderator and moves posts to the correct topic. When the topic gets moved it goes under his/her name not the original person who posted the question/comment.
Hope that sheds some light on this confusing person.

Hi,
Parenting is exhausting ... especially when you are a single parent!
It's a good idea to find supports and to make sure you take time each day just for you ... even a short time ... for a bath (with candles), or a walk, or scrabble on line ... or time to just sit quietly! After all you want to be there for your beloved daughter for many years ... so don't forget to take care of you too!

Hi...I was a single parent a while ago...and it does get to be fully exhausting at times...I just tried to prioritize things...and make lots of LISTS!!! Lists became my life for a long time....and were very helpful. Stress is a major factor...but the summer is right around the corner...enjoy that time with your child...go bike riding together..take walks after dinner.....and yes, a nice warm bubble bath by yourself never hurts. And when she goes on visitation...make plans with friends.....Sincerely, Brenda...
